March 10, 2014, Chuck Milner and Allan Reznik embarked on a 2200-mile round trip to York, PA for the five-day Celtic Cluster dog shows, culminating with the Potomac Afghan Hound Club specialty. Chuck, a talented cook, was invited to prepare the post-specialty dinner and Allan was asked to give his popular presentation on “Getting the Most Bang Out of Your Advertising Buck.” Chuck purchased brisket in Texas and transported it back home to Eureka Springs, then on to Pennsylvania! Upwards of 40 people attended the dinner party and the bountiful feast was memorable! Chuck and Allan entered two Afghans and both made their presence known. Oriana Milan Eaze (“Mila”) went WB/BOS on two consecutive days from the Open Bitch class. Their striking blue-and-cream domino male puppy “Bombay” (Oriana Bombay Star), who just turned 13 months, won the competitive 12-15 Month class on two days (including at the specialty sweepstakes), and twice went second, under four Afghan/sighthound breeder-judges. Last fall Bombay earned 3 points and won two Bred-by-Exhibitor Hound Group Firsts over adult competition by 8 months of age and hadn’t been shown since November.
